Without a funnel the chute's filling opening collapses and someone has to hold it open by hand. The funnel gives the opening a firm shape and keeps it open for the whole working day.
You empty buckets, shovels or a wheelbarrow directly into the funnel, without aiming and without holding the chute. The funnel directs the rubble down in a controlled stream.

The filling funnel has an effective diameter of Ø 50cm | 19.69 inch and a height of 35cm | 13.78 inch and therefore it fits perfectly to the hose. So you can connect the funnel to the stortslurf. The stortslurf can also be used without the funnel but we do not recommend this.

Attach the funnel with a rope or ratchet strap to the window frame, balcony, downpipe or another solid point. Make sure it hangs level and stable.
Hang the chute's loops into the funnel's hooks. The supplied carabiner secures the connection.
Hold the chute beneath as vertically as possible and position the lower end no more than 50 cm above the skip. Then you can start pouring.

It is not essential; the chute also works without it. However, it is recommended: without the funnel the opening collapses and someone has to hold it open by hand while pouring. The funnel does this continuously and makes the setup noticeably more stable.
No. This funnel is designed for a diameter of Ø50 cm. We currently do not carry a funnel for the XL Ø80 cm variant; it is deployed without a funnel, for example using a rope or strap.
You hang the chute's loops into the funnel's hooks and secure the connection with the supplied carabiner. It takes seconds; you don't need any tools.
With a rope or strap to the window frame, balcony, downpipe or another load-bearing point. You can find a suitable strap set in the accessories. Make sure the funnel hangs level and that the chute below runs freely downwards.
No. You only need one funnel; it sits at the top filling point. The chute itself is extended by one section per floor.

As a rule we recommend removing the funnel after work, because of wind pressure on the façade.
The funnel is matched to the loop system of the Stortslurf® chute. For chutes from other manufacturers with Ø50 cm it can often be attached with cable ties or a rope, but we cannot guarantee a perfect fit.
