Hang the loops of the chute onto the hooks of the funnel. This directs all the rubble straight down.
Connect additional parts (3 m per piece) using the supplied cable ties. Suitable up to 27 metres in height.
Take the chute to the relevant floor and lower it outwards from there. Secure the funnel (sold separately) with a rope or ratchet strap to the window frame, balcony or downpipe.
Hang the lower end a maximum of 50 cm above the container or wheelbarrow. Keep the chute as vertical as possible for optimal flow.
Throw rubble, roof gravel or other waste into the funnel (optional, sold separately). It glides straight into the container – no dust, no dirt on the street.

Use of the rubble chute
The Stortslurf® rubble chute is suitable for everyone, from homeowners to professional contractors. At only 2.5 kg per section, it is easy to install. One person can have it ready to use in under 10 minutes. When comparing rubbish chutes for renovation or roofing work, match the section length and planned route to the job rather than choosing by name alone.
Rubble Chute, Rubbish Chute or Scaffold Chute — What's the Difference?
On a UK building site, the names rubble chute, rubbish chute, scaffold chute and debris chute usually describe the same practical solution: a flexible, controlled route for material to travel from the work area to a container below. This Ø50 cm Stortslurf® section covers those everyday applications, whether a contractor calls it a builders chute for renovation debris or a scaffolding chute beside a working platform. Rubbish chutes take several forms, but this flexible section is intended for the everyday applications described on this page.
A flexible chute for the job in hand
Used as a scaffold chute, the system can be extended one section at a time as work moves up the elevation. A scaffolding chute configuration keeps the route clear alongside the working platform, while a roofing chute is useful for tiles and gutter waste.
For scaffold-specific fitting, height and site-planning information, read the flexible scaffold chute guide.
A Waste Chute for Renovation and Site Clearance
During renovation, the same product may be described as a construction debris chute, a construction chute or simply a debris chute. As a construction chute or waste chute, it provides a clear route from a window, scaffold or roofline towards the collection area and helps keep the work zone orderly.
From the roofline to the collection point
When set above a suitable container, it works as a skip chute for broken tiles, bagged rubble and other controlled loads. The resulting skip chute setup helps keep materials out of walkways, while a roofing chute moves material away from the roof edge and a builders chute keeps refurbishment work organised. For sites using rubbish chutes above a container, plan the collection point before material is introduced. For general clear-outs, the same flexible rubbish chute can be used as a waste chute, with each load directed safely into the skip chute arrangement.
